Indole-3-Carbinol
Indole-3-Carbinol [Glandular] is a powerful antioxidant found in the cell walls of cruciferous vegetables. The compounds in these vegetables that may protect cells from oxidative damage are called indoles, among them Indole-3-Carbinol and its metabolites. These compounds may work by binding to or activating certain receptors in the body to protect cells. Indole-3-Carbinol also acts as an antioxdant. This compound may be helpful in the metabolism of estrogens, protecting breast tissue and reproductive organs from cell damage. Indole-3-Carbinol is formulated in a base of broccoli sprout and broccoli powder, a known source of indoles, bringing the total dietary indole content to 200 mg per serving.

At convention I heard somewhere that Indole 3 Carbinol is great for hot flashes, as it blocks the estrogen receptor sites that produce the hot flashes! Immediately my friend Debbie came to mind, who has menopausal hot flashes all day and all night. She has several health problems that she takes medication for and sees drs for and is just beginning to open up to herbal therapies.
WELL, when I got home I gave her a bottle of Indole 3 Carbinol to try, 1 capsule in the morning and 1 at night before bedtime. She had attended my weight loss/footspa meeting, and she said she would take her first one as soon as she got home.
She called me yesterday and told me that she slept ALL NIGHT WITHOUT ONE HOT FLASH WAKING HER UP!!!! Previously she had been awakened every hour during the night, sweating, and couldn't ever get into that deep sleep stage. This has been happening for months! She was SO EXCITED and I was SO EXCITED for her!

Hello. We have a customer who once had breast cancer (and removal of the affected breast) and also has breast cancer in the family.
She came in about 4 months ago concerned about benign lumps in her remaining breast and began using the Pro-G-Yam cream. Well, about 30 days later she read about Indole-3-Carbinol and switched to this product, taking 1 capsule twice daily as recommended on the bottle.
ALL of her cystic lumps are now GONE and the tissue is normal and healthy. After 90 days! Wow.
