Hydrangea

Hydrangea [Urinary]. Originally used by the Cherokee Indians for kidney support, hydrangea was introduced to early American settlers for similar purposes. A common shrub, hydrangea is a bitter and a solvent. Its solvent properties nutritionally support the urinary system. It contains natural minerals plus silicon, flavonoids, resins and saponins. In this formula, the dried, powdered root is used. Each capsule contains 325 mg hydrangea.

I woke up one morning with severe pain in my back to one side. The pain eased up and I fell back asleep only to be woken a short time later with more stabbing pain. I eventually went to the ER and received a CAT scan which informed me that I had kidney stones and would need lithotropy to have them dissolved.

I went home and began taking 3 hydrangea ever 3 to 4 hours. The theory is that the hydrangea dissolves the stones. I used my funnel (hoping to catch the stones) for about 4 days and never saw the stones pass despite no more pain after about 36 hours using the hydrangea.
